When feeling overwhelmed, instead of repeatedly asking “How do I do all this?,” we can approach it energetically. We can insist upon being present. We can command it. Mula Bandha and squeeze the heart. Take a breathe up and down through the central channel again in this moment, and you’ll get more fully into your body, more fully into the present moment.
Inside an experience of anxiety or overwhelm, or in a state of activation – when you feel a rumbling, that trembling within, when you’re rattled – you can go inside and be present with it. This time, instead of avoiding it or pushing it away, meet the rattle and reel it in. Anchor it. And again breathe up and down through the central channel. Say “yes” to it. It is more of you, revealing.
When you breathe consciously, with loving presence, you still the ocean, you still this experience that you are having. You reveal that you are loving presence.
