There is a channel that runs through the center of your body. It has been in existence even before your nervous system even developed in the womb. And this channel runs from the top of your head, through the crown center, and right down through the center of the brain, the center of the throat, the center of the chest, down through the center of the belly, down through the pelvis, and drops straight into the earth.
With the Central Channel Breath, just imagine that you’re moving energy up and down through this channel.
Breathing through the nose, imagine the breath starting about two inches above the head, and breathe consciously, right through the center of the brain, through the throat, into the heart, and into the belly. Breathe in, and make the belly big when you do, and exhale right down through this center, right into the earth. And then a deep breath comes up from the earth into the belly, and exhale, taking your imagination straight up and down through this central channel. This opens the channel and allows us to do so much work.
So now you know how to do it! No excuses… let’s begin.
When you have an opportunity to speak your truth, you are taking a stand in clarity and integration.
The backlash may be that your Protective Personality, is going to snap back in trying to do what it does. What you have to do in that moment is squeeze the throat chakra, squeeze in the core, and start breathing up and down through the center of the body. This way you know that you are integrating the energy centers with the different layers of consciousness that the body represent, if they are not talking to each other then there is a lack of integration. That’s when the protective personality still thinks it has to hold it’s own.
This integration is a process of familiarizing the Self – the Protective Personality with the Essential Self. When the authentic Self gets a voice and attention more regularly, it gets built stronger and stronger. You will find that the voice that would normally swing around later and have its argument of whether you should or shouldn’t have done that, would simply fade in the presence of this light and love.
You will discover as the Protective Personality integrates with the Essential Self, you will begin to chose wisely and with ease in speaking your truth, and make clear distinctions on how you are going to spend your Essence.
There is a “biggest” purpose for meditation. It isn’t just about stress relief and stilling the mind–although that is immensely beneficial. Meditation is also a way to listen, to feel, sense, and be present with the greater part of you that extends beyond the physical realm, the part of you that is more than meets the eye, and the part of you that is ultimately interested in you being all that you can be.
As we get in touch with that, with the rest of who we are, we become the Healer, the Leader, the Visionary. We become the one in our family dynamic that holds the space for Love to prevail. We become the one in our workplace that senses there is a solution even when it looks like the squeeze is on, or there is pressure about a project or timing on something. We become the one who allows grace to flow, because it flows through us, not just to us.
As we allow ourselves to sit in a meditative way, we train the mind to be the true authentic servant to the heart. We begin to participate in a feeling recipe, a sensing tone, a communication, a collaboration with our inner wisdom and personal power, our ability to love unconditionally, our ability to speak our truth in all situations.
You get to be the visionary that you are, to grasp and catalyze the infinite possibilities that zoom through your mind every day, as “how I would love my life to be, how I would love my life to go.” As we begin to integrate, we not only combine those aspects of our whole being, we couple them with the fact that we are made of God-source energy, we are made of the very essence that nature is made of. There is nothing that we are not. As we begin to allow all of that truth to come together, we begin to sense and feel ourselves differently in the world than we did before.
